If you wish to Search this FAQ, hold down your CTRL key and hit the letter F on your keyboard.  You should be presented with a search option. 

 

  1. Where can I see all of my Customers?

    1. Go to the Marketing Center tab, click All Customers and select the Salesperson (if necessary) and click Search.

      1. Because some dealerships restrict access to the Marketing Center, this option may not be available.

    2. Another way you can view all of your customers is to go to the customer search screen, and click the search button without entering any search criteria.

  2. How do I Search for a Customer?

    1. Search for a Customer by clicking on the Customer Search button at the top of the page or alternatively you can click on the Customer tab and select Phone Call Entry from there.

  3. How do I cancel an appointment that has already been scheduled in Car Research?

    1. Search for the customer using the customer search screen, then find the event which scheduled the appointment. Edit the event and un-check the set appointment box, then save.

  4. Where can I go to see all of my duplicate customers in the system?

    1. Under the Customer menu, select Duplicate Customer Resolution.

    2. Select a date range and the set of options you wish to use for determining duplicates and click search.

    3. Possible matches will be displayed side by side and a match reason is listed to the far right.

    4. In between the two matching customers you have options to merge one into the other.

    5. You can merge either direction, the one you merge into is the one that is kept. Information from the other is merged into the kept record.

    6. If any information would be lost, it is added to the notes in the customer record.
